This is the cover for my upcoming comic book, “Hiver Nucléaire”! It will be released in little less than a month and published by Frond Froid. I can’t even begin to describe how stoked I am about having my own story and own characters in an actual book. Sometimes I stop and think about it and I can’t help but smile and shake my tiny fists like an excited child.
For the record, Hiver Nucléaire (Nuclear Winter) is a webcomic and it has been completed in April. It is available both in french and english to read online. The book will feature extra artwork and besides, it’s a lot more fun reading a story in a book, right?
Making our ancestors proud.
In this episode we explore the Women as Background Decoration trope which is the subset of largely insignificant non-playable female characters whose sexuality or victimhood is exploited as a way to infuse edgy, gritty or racy flavoring into game worlds. These sexually objectified female bodies are designed to function as environmental texture while titillating presumed straight male players. Sometimes they’re created to be glorified furniture but they are frequently programmed as minimally interactive sex objects to be used and abused.
