As the comic book industry grows and is exposed to more and more people who are not typical superhero readers, I hope this behavior will be regarded for what it is: unprofessional nonsense, not to be tolerated by the industry. I hope publishers will come to expect a standard of behavior from the artists and writers they hire, and will not tolerate harassment and dismissal of women in the industry.
Comic book professionals, you are PROFESSIONALS. It’s time to start acting like it.
I know there's a French book of Nuclear Winter in the works, but is there any chance of an English print edition? I really want to have this on my bookshelf to enjoy!
Not with my current editor. Anything else would have to be along the lines of self-publishing or something like that. But think about it, having the french version on your bookshelf, you could impress all your friends!
What kind of pens and coloring materials do you use? (I usually color digitally, but I'm looking to try a different approach.)
I usually use Faber Castell pens for inking comics. I have a Pentel brush pen that I really like using, as well as ink and brush. I use india ink for wash outs and Promarkers for pretty much everything that has to do with colours, when it’s not digital.
